"Prior to working with Andrew, my confidence was very low in the gym. I was not confident enough to strength train, so I stayed in my comfort zone (cardio) for years. Obviously, this type of training didn't give me the results I wanted. In 2014, I attended Andrew's boot camp with one of my friends, and all of that changed. I have always been an active individual, but really struggled to stay consistent with a workout routine, which made achieving the results I was looking for difficult. That all changed when I started training with Andrew. He immediately made me feel comfortable in the gym and created structured workouts that were challenging yet effective. I started seeing results faster than I had ever anticipated and I began loving my time in the gym, especially when I was training with Andrew. He makes the hour sessions fun and inviting and rather than dreading going to workout, I began looking forward to my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays training sessions. He also helps you understand the exercises and muscles that you are targeting during those moves! He helps you to push yourself out of your comfort zone in the best way!! "I had always been active as a dancer, in army ROTC and running through college. After college I wanted to start lifting but was unsure of where to start and how to go about it safely. I went in and toured paramount fitness and had a quick conversation with Andrew afterwards and we set up a training session for the following week. The amount of knowledge Andrew has about lifting techniques and exercises is astounding. I left with a complete understanding of how to properly do the exercises we went through that evening and understood exactly what muscle groups I was working. "It might be cliche to say "my trainer is the best", but Andrew is. When meeting any new trainer, you're afraid of how intense they are going to be. Andrew balances the right amount of fitness and fun. He's extremely down to earth. One thing I really enjoy about working with Andrew is that he explains and demonstrates each exercise before asking you to do it. This prepares you for the days you can't spend training with him. He's also extremely focused on variety. Every workout is different. He keeps every detail of your previous sessions to make sure he's mixing up the exercises. Andrew is really good about focusing on the person right in front of him. He makes sure his attention is focused on you during your entire session. This really makes me feel like I'm getting the most out of my time with him. I also appreciate how he puts an emphasis on education.
